Question 1

Off-Grid Inverters: What is the difference between an off-grid and a hybrid inverter?

Accepted Answer

An off-grid inverter runs your loads from solar and battery only — it does not export to or synchronise with the utility grid. A hybrid inverter does both: it can charge from solar or grid, run your loads, and fall back to the grid automatically. Choose off-grid where there is no reliable grid connection, and hybrid where you have a grid supply but want backup and lower bills.

Question 2

Off-Grid Inverters: Do I still need a separate solar charge controller?

Accepted Answer

No. The Gospower off-grid range has an MPPT charge controller built in, so the panels connect straight to the inverter. That removes a separate box, its wiring and one more point of failure.

Question 3

Off-Grid Inverters: Will the inverter survive dust and humidity?

Accepted Answer

The IP54-rated models are sealed against dust and splashing water, and the boards are conformal-coated. That matters in Bangladesh, where dust ingress and monsoon humidity are the most common causes of early inverter failure.

Question 4

Hybrid Inverters: Can a hybrid inverter work without solar panels?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It will charge the battery from the grid and run your loads from that battery during an outage, working as a high-quality IPS. You lose the savings solar would bring, but the backup function works exactly the same — and you can add panels later.

Question 5

Hybrid Inverters: Which model do I need for my house?

Accepted Answer

Size the inverter to the total watts you want to run at once, then add about 30% headroom for motor start-up surges from fridges and pumps. As a rough guide: 3.6kW covers lights, fans, TV and a fridge; 5–6kW adds a washing machine or a single AC; 10–15kW suits a full house with multiple ACs. Our Watt Calculator does this for you.

Question 6

Hybrid Inverters: Is the output safe for a fridge, computer or medical device?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the range produces pure sine-wave output, which is the same waveform as a good grid supply. Motors run cooler and sensitive electronics are not stressed the way they are on a modified sine-wave IPS.

Question 7

Battery Packs: How long will a LiFePO₄ battery pack last?

Accepted Answer

LiFePO₄ cells are rated for thousands of deep cycles — far beyond lead-acid, which typically manages a few hundred. In normal daily-cycling use that means many years of service rather than replacing batteries every two or three years. Exact cycle life depends on depth of discharge and operating temperature.

Question 8

Battery Packs: Is lithium storage safe to install inside the house?

Accepted Answer

LiFePO₄ is the safest mainstream lithium chemistry — it is thermally stable and does not have the runaway risk associated with some other lithium types. Every pack ships with a smart BMS that protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and temperature extremes. There is also no acid, no fumes and no water top-up.

Question 9

Battery Packs: Can I add more batteries later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The rack and wall-mounted packs are designed to be paralleled, so you can start with the capacity you can afford and expand as your load or budget grows. Add packs of the same model and keep them at a similar state of charge when commissioning.

Question 10

Battery Packs: Can I use these packs with my existing inverter?

Accepted Answer

Often yes, if your inverter supports lithium batteries at the matching system voltage (commonly 24V or 48V) and can communicate over CAN or RS485. Send us your inverter model and we will confirm compatibility before you order.

Question 11

All-in-One ESS: What does an all-in-one system include?

Accepted Answer

The inverter, the LiFePO₄ battery and the charge controller arrive pre-integrated in a single wall-mounted cabinet, pre-wired and tested. You connect solar, grid and your load circuits — there is no battery-to-inverter wiring to size or get wrong on site, which shortens installation considerably.

Question 12

All-in-One ESS: Do you install it, or is it DIY?

Accepted Answer

We recommend professional installation, and our team handles it for customers in and around Dhaka. Anything involving grid connection and load-circuit changeover should be wired by a qualified electrician. Contact us with your location and we will confirm coverage.

Question 13

Portable Power Stations: What can a portable power station actually run?

Accepted Answer

Divide the station's watt-hours by the watts your device draws to get rough runtime. A 1000W unit will comfortably run lights, fans, a Wi-Fi router, a laptop and CCTV through a long outage; it is not intended for an air conditioner, water pump or other heavy motor load.

Question 14

Portable Power Stations: How do I recharge it?

Accepted Answer

From a normal wall socket, from solar panels via the built-in MPPT input, or from a car socket. Solar recharging is what makes it genuinely useful for multi-day outages and off-grid site work.

Question 15

Micro Inverters: Why choose a micro inverter over a string inverter?

Accepted Answer

Each panel gets its own MPPT, so shade on one module no longer drags down the whole string. That suits balconies and rooftops with partial shading from water tanks, parapets or neighbouring buildings — a common situation in Dhaka. They are also IP67 sealed and simple to install panel by panel.

Question 16

General: What warranty do I get, and who handles claims?

Accepted Answer

Products carry a manufacturer warranty, and claims are handled locally by Gospower Bangladesh — you do not ship anything abroad. Register your product after purchase to activate coverage and keep your invoice. You can track a service request through our after-sales portal.

Question 17

General: Are spare parts available in Bangladesh?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We hold spares locally for the models we sell, which is the main reason warranty turnaround is measured in days rather than the weeks an overseas RMA would take.

Question 18

General: Do you deliver outside Dhaka?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we deliver nationwide. Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of the system — larger inverters and battery racks are freight items. The charge is shown at checkout before you confirm.

Question 19

General: Can I become a dealer?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we are expanding our dealer network across Bangladesh. Use the Become a Dealer form with your business details and coverage area, and our team will get back to you with pricing and terms.

Question 20

General: What maintenance does a solar and storage system need?

Accepted Answer

Very little. Keep the panels clean, keep the inverter's vents clear of dust, and make sure the area around it stays dry and ventilated. Unlike lead-acid batteries there is no water top-up and no acid to check. We recommend an annual inspection for larger installations.
